I've decided to open-up a chain journal/advertisement! However, this isn't one of those chain-journals where you answer dumbass questions, then you have to make your own journal of it and your wish will come true bullshit. This is an ad to all writers out there-

Support A Writers Dream. Or, SAWD, as we call it.

This is pulled in direct quotations from the owner of SAWD:
" Our first mission as a newly created club, is to stop Poetry.com from stealing the works of amateur poets. For many years, Poetry.com has been deceiving many people. They send letters to the writer's and praise them for their works. In reality, all they care about is the money. When they send you the letter, they say that your poems are one of the best poems they have read, when they haven't really read it at all. You could send them a poem that makes fun of Poetry.com and in a few months you would be sent a letter praising your work. Still, what would be the point of Poetry.com to go through all the trouble just to falsely praise someone? Because they could make money off it! When they send you the letter of praises, they will also send you a form saying that your poems have been published in one of their books and that you could pre-order it for a low price. The thing is, the books are NOT cheap, but they know that you are flattered by their praises, you will be likely to buy a book. Another thing is that the books are never made unless you order them, then they will only make one or however many you order, only for you.

Although some people may know of their scamming, not many do. Many will fall for their praises and buy their books. Not that I'm saying their poems are probably bad, but they are sending their poems to the wrong place. Poetry.com doesn't care about the poems, just the money they could make from it. Many people might be happy when they receive their first letter, but once they find out the truth, they get hurt. Their pride gets hurt and they feel like a fool for believing in Poetry.com. Some might say to themselves that maybe we may be wrong about Poetry.com and that maybe Poetry.com is honest, they will only get hurt more as the learn more of the truth. The members of SAWD agrees that it is not right to hurt these writers like that and that Poetry.com should be stopped. Since SAWD has opened, we have not gotten many people to actually join. This upsets me, seeing as we're not helping so many people who're tricked into beliving this crap. Our advertising isn't working very well, since there's nearly no one willing to take the time. But, please, anyone who reads this, help us by advertising, even a little would be helpful, so we can make sure someone isn't scammed into thinking submitting their work to Poetry.com and buying the book.

Also, incase you already HAVE known about this, please still advertise SAWD.
